Zero score and four months ago your fellow Substacker brought forth on this digital platform a new Substack conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all George McKim Photographs need to be seen and appreciated by thousands of Substackers.
Therefore thank all of y’all for subscribing and don’t be afraid to restack my photos with all of your many followers and subscribers, it would be greatly appreciated.
This photograph titled “Door to the Ocean / Door to an Ingrid Bergman film” has been the most viewed and most restacked photo on my Substack, currently at 800 views. My Black & White photographs are all original photos taken by and edited by yours truly. I like the vibe of Black & White Photography partially because they have a certain nostalgic vibe and also because they can be edited to change the look and mood of the images and also because they are somewhat abstract due to the lack of color and that can lend itself to a more graphic and dramatic feel.
Almost all the photos on my Substack were taken with a Leica Q2 mirrorless digital camera with a 28mm 1.7 Summicron lens but I don’t think that the camera makes the picture, figuratively speaking, but it’s the ideas and images that are important.
Stay tuned for more interesting content coming your way including more photos and a new self published 200 page book of my photography coming soon.
Thanks and take care,
George McKim
